At the Masters British National Championships 2023, Damian Burgess of Aberystwyth Squash Club took home the Plate at Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham.
After losing in the first round to the eventual Semi Finalist John Welton, Damian didn't drop a game in his next three matches winning them all 3-0 on his way to winning the plate competition.
Damian finishes the Masters season in the top 10 in the UK in the Over 35 category.
